Conflict Resolution: Love and Duty in Motion in Pensacola, Florida

Written by: Sis. Mariah X – Sis. Student Protocol for Muhammad Mosque #98

The Honorable Minister Farrakhan gave the order—make our communities a safe and decent place to live. “We need 10,000 fearless men to go inside the Black community, and stand in between the guns of the gangs, and then settle this with conflict resolution. And then, bring peace in our community,” Minister Farrakhan told a standing-room-only audience during a, “Justice or Else” address at Rosemont, Illinois on September 6, 2015. Since being introduced to the Nation of Islam, mosques and study groups have worked diligently to establish conflict resolution centers in their respective cities, in an ongoing effort to decrease violence and offer a secure and safe environment for people to come and peacefully resolve their differences.

Inspired by the Minister Farrakhan’s lecture entitled, “We Must Accept the Responsibility to Reform the Community”, Student Captain Bro. Dennis Muhammad spearheaded the Peacekeepers Violence Reduction Initiative. This laid the blueprint for the conflict mediation program. Witnessing the positive results of the program, the “Squash the Beef” Conflict Resolution Program was launched by Muhammad Mosque #46 in New Orleans Louisiana. Minister Farrakhan adopted the “Squash the Beef” model to be the blueprint for the 10,000 Fearless Conflict Resolution Training Initiative.

Most recently, seeing the benefit of conflict resolution in other cities, and how it could benefit the increase of gun violence in her own city of Pensacola, Florida, Sis. Student Captain Candace Muhammad led, with the support of local student laborers in her city, in the organization of 10,000 Fearless Pensacola—with an immediate focus on conflict resolution. “I see the 10,000 Fearless Conflict Resolution Center in Pensacola being different because other efforts [in the city] being made are seemingly appealing to outside people, outside organizations to solve our problems”, said Sis. Captain. “But the conflict resolution center of the 10,000 Fearless is actually getting to the root. Which is, the mis-understandings that our people have…We’re not enemies… That means having the parties sit down and discuss the reason for the conflict, getting to the root of it and coming up with a solution themselves to solve it.”

Pensacola recently hosted Bro. Student Minister Willie Muhammad, the New Orleans (Muhammad Mosque #46) representative of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Student Minister Willie facilitated an interactive training where participants learned, and put into practice, the importance of clear and proper communication, de-escalation and the steps of the mediating process. Since 2015, he has dedicated his time to promoting the implementation of conflict resolution centers across our Nation, and says that one hurdle that he is determined to overcome is making conflict resolution the new norm in our community. “Members of our community have seen issues handled in a violent way for so long, that they doubt we as a people have the ability or desire to resolve “beefs” in a non- violent way”, Minister Willie said. One definite challenge in Pensacola, according to Pensacola’s Bro. Student Minister, Tarus X, has been getting other organizations on board in a unified effort. “We are taught that our unity is more powerful than an atomic bomb”, said Minister Tarus. “Sometimes, other organization have to come to see that, in the end, we have the same goal—saving the people. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has made the way. We just have to follow. It’s that simple.” Minister Willie believes the way to show the success of the resolution efforts are in the numbers.

According the statistics routinely calculated by himself and his team, a total of over one hundred conflicts have been resolved nationally, with that figure expecting to rise as more centers are established and more mediators are trained. Alyssa Stewart, 18, was in attendance for the most recent training in Pensacola at Muhammad Mosque #98. Alyssa, now a part of the over 1,200 trained mediators, believes the conflict resolution skills she acquired, will play a vital role in her interactions with her fellow peers.“I think conflict resolution skills will help solving issues with others”, Alyssa said. “I think that perception plays a huge part in conflict resolution. Something that was perceived one way, may not be the right way.” Sis. Jameelah Ali, another Pensacola attendee, said the skills she learned were valuable, not only in the community, but in her own home dealing with her children as well. Sis. Jameelah was so inspired, by the training, she forwarded a testimonial afterward. “…I had been having issues with my son and nothing settled our issues. I literally applied the points of the workshop to have a better relationship with my son. Later that day, I heard him tell his friends, ‘My mama grounded me this morning, but we have an understanding… He is 16 and that is huge. This world has a tendency to appear fair-seeming.”

According to the trace.org, a firearm is used in nearly 500,000 crimes every year in our country—resulting in 110,000 injuries and/ or deaths. Minister Willie believes that it has become so common, that guns now outweigh citizens. “We are battling a culture”, said Minister Willie. “When I think of this battle, I reflect on the words of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad when he talked about the power of a consistent drop of water on a stone. He said if consistently done, the water can cause a hole in the stone. We, in this battle against violence, must be consistent in our efforts, like that drop.”

The benefit of our reaching beyond the mosque walls is that we bringing the vision of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan into reality. Making our communities a safe and decent place to live isn’t the responsibility of only the Muslims. It is the responsibility of humanity. Minister Willie reflects, “The Black stone was returned to its position with the help of four other members of the community and Muhammad. Not just Muhammad alone”.

Bringing Muhammad to the Mountain

New Orleans, La – In an effort to carry out the instructions given to the Nation of Islam by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan to get outside of the four walls of the mosque, the laborers of Muhammad Mosque No. 46 gathered together to develop an initiative that has been deemed, “Operation Bring Muhammad to the Mountain.”

“The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in a lecture titled, the “Majesty of Master Fard Muhammad,” said the following, “If the people in the street are not willing to come here, then you should go to them. It is said, “If the mountain won’t come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain.” Your work is with your people in the streets.” Ever since hearing those words Believers in the City of New Orleans have been experimenting with various agreed upon, practical and innovative outreach methods to reach our people. The Mosque laboring staff held a meeting and it was decided to identify several high traffic areas in the city where our people frequent and the teachings could be brought to them in those locations.

In these specific areas a table is set up with the Final Call Newspaper, sign-in sheets, and some light food and water. FOI and MGT who are participating invite individuals to come and hear the words being shared by the local representative of the Hon. Louis Farrakhan. “This effort of the Believers was very effective. In essence we had a mini- mosque meeting on the streets,” stated Student Minister Brother Willie Muhammad.

The laborers chose one of the busiest streets in the city of New Orleans – Canal Street, which sits in the heart of the city tourist attractions. Once set up, FOI and MGT approach those walking in a loving and respectful way, and invite them to hear a word from the Student Minister. Those who come to the table hear a brief “mini” lecture, which focuses on the principle of the significance and power of knowledge of self, the salvation for the Black man and woman in America today and the work of the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan. “At the conclusion of each talk we directed the people to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan! We told them that they should look at him when they see him, listen to him when they hear him and where he says go, go and where he says stay away from stay away from,” continued Brother Willie Muhammad. Those who stopped to hear the message listened attentively and left excited, desiring to learn more and wanting to join the Nation of Islam.

Present at every outreach effort were the Student FOI and MGT Captains of Muhammad Mosque No. 46. “It was amazing to see the attracting power of a covered woman. Both the men and women commented that it was great to see the sisters out. Young sisters further engaged the MGT on discussions concerning modest dress and how beautiful the sisters looked in their pastel and white garments. Men noted they had seen the men before but have never seen a MGT.” explained Student Sis. Capt. Meshawn Siddiq.  “Engaging our people where they are is incredibly effective and rewarding. You can see the impact the teachings of the Hon. Louis Farrakhan has on our people immediately and their desire to know more about who they are and the power they have. Even the people who initially walk past, tend to come back to see what they might have missed.”  said Student Capt. Jason Muhammad.

To measure the effectiveness and assess the outreach effort, data was taken from the sign-in sheets each person who came to the table completed after hearing the message. The data gathered revealed the following: Seventy-six (76%) of those who stopped to hear the message said they had never heard of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan nor the Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Eighteen (18%) expressed a desire to join the Nation of Islam, fifty-three (53%) said they wanted to learn more and another thirty-eight (24%) agreed to be added to Muhammad Mosque No. 46’s contact list.

“We hope to refine this outreach effort and package it in such a way that other mosques and study groups can use it in their respective cities as another tool to bring the Teachings to our people,” stated Student Minister Brother Willie Muhammad.

Youth Manhood Development Summer Sessions

New Orleans, LA. – We saw a need and heard a cry from the community and we responded,” stated Brother Willie Muhammad, Student Minister of Muhammad Mosque 46 and New Orleans Representative of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, speaking about a series of summer sessions held Monday at Mosque 46. Some members of the community were concerned about the city of New Orleans Mayor, LaToya Cantrells plans to enforce standing city juvenile curfew as a deterrent to what was believed to be an increase in juvenile crime. Instead of complaining about the believed issue with juvenile crime we, the Student FOI Captain, myself, the FOI and members of the community came together to hold manhood development sessions for teenage boys. In these sessions we taught Black History, respect for the female, leadership development, visualization strategies and more,” continued Brother Willie.

Parents dropped their boys off at the mosque during the FOI class community outreach curriculum. Since the brothers would be out in the community we used the available time to help teach these young brothers who showed up every Monday eager to learn and participate,” said Brother Willie.

Parents have been sending messages to Muhammad Mosque social media pages expressing how much their sons are enjoying the sessions. He (her son) said that he enjoyed last weeks meeting. I believe he enjoyed because he got a chance to see and be in the presence of men with different mindsets, different goals, different lifestyles agreeing to disagree and still build, grow, and respect one another. This is a hint of the hereafter. APDTA! Give Thanks to all of the brothers. Peace and Blessings to all!,” stated Sister Rishaun X, who is a member of Muhammad Mosque #46.

I definitely appreciate the classes as well as Raynell, I wish they can be ongoing…One of the things he talks about mostly is looking a man in his eyes when speaking, and the way you should sit. I know this was a great learning experience for him,” stated Karron Williams whose young son attends.

Im so grateful for the class I believe some of the training will be life changing for them. The seeds that were planted in them will help them maneuver in a very critical stage of life which is being a teenager, stated Brother Patrick X who brought two of his nephews to the weekly sessions.

The value of the weekly sessions were recognized by Gregory Barabino so much that he made the commitment to drive from Gulfport, Mississippi (80 miles) every Monday to bring several young boys to participate. The reason I came to new orleans is because there was no opportunity in my area to address the issues that young black men face. There has been a few instances of murders in my community but no one wanted to address the underlying issues. No pastors, politicians, so called community leaders and so on. It was a lot more effective to bring the youth to an organized effort than to raise money for speakers and rent buildings to accommodate such an event on our city. It was the best practical way to expose the youth to these quality, qualified, passionate speakers who genuinely care for black males without having another agenda than true love for young black males.

We are thankful that we were able to hold these sessions. To me it shows that it is time to take what we have learned from the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and create programs that service our community. We we will explore how we can continue these sessions beyond the summer,” stated Brother Willie Muhammad.

We Are Farrakhan Rally/Panel

New Orleans, La. – Activists, clergy, Hip-Hop artists, leaders of local civil rights organizations, community members and more gathered at Muhammad Mosque No. 46 to show their support for the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, after he was banned from Facebook and Instagram social media platforms. The attendees came to participate in a rally and panel discussion titled, “We Are Farrakhan!” The rally and panel was inspired by similar rallies that have been held by Mosque No. 26 of Oakland and Mosque No. 25 of San Francisco.

“There were three objectives we wanted to achieve by the end of this impactful meeting. The first was to allow community leaders the opportunity to share their thoughts about the ban, express their support of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and discuss how this ban can be used to organize our people. Second, we wanted to reveal to the attendees the real motive behind the ban, and more importantly equip them with the resources to help them understand why the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is engaged in a war with the architects of white supremacy, what should be Black leaderships response when they are asked to denounce the Minister and to supply them with the research that will empower them to combat the lies of the enemies,” stated Student Minister Brother Willie Muhammad.

Panelist talked about how the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan was relevant before social media and will continue to be effective regardless of any censure because of his years of work and succeed in transforming people within and outside the Nation of Islam.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar Should Heed Minister Louis Farrakhan’s advice from his 2019 Saviours’ Day Address – NOI New Orleans

By Student Minister Willie Muhammad

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan once again delivered a powerful lecture at our annual Saviours’ Day Convention, which is the Crowing Event of Black History Month! The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan touched on a variety of subjects that touched the hearts and minds of many. As usual a day after he delivered this lecture the media attack dogs following their orders write articles yet again trying to link the truth the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan spoke to the label of Anti-Semitism. Jack Crowe of the National Review penned an article titled, “Farrakhan Praises Omar’s Anti-Semitic Remarks: ‘Shake Up That Corrupt House’.” Mr. Crowe writes…

“Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan on Sunday praised Representative Ilhan Omar’s (D., Minn.) recent endorsement of an anti-Semitic trope and urged the freshman lawmaker not to bow to pressure from critics. “Ms. Omar from Somalia – she started talking about ‘the Benjamins’ and they are trying to make her apologize. Sweetheart, don’t do that. Pardon me for calling you sweetheart, but you do have a sweet heart. You sure are using it to shake the government up, but you have nothing to apologize for,” Farrakhan said during his annual Saviour’s Day address in Chicago, in comments first reported by the Washington Free Beacon.”

He continues, “Israel and AIPAC pays off senators and congressmen to do their bidding, so you’re not lying. So if you’re not lying, stop laying down. You were sent there by the people to shake up that corrupt House,” he added.”

What’s sad about the pressure that Representative Ilhan Omar’s (D., Minn.) came under is that it came from a media that is AFRAID to tell the truth when it comes to the powerful influence of the Israeli lobby on the American government. The cowardice of the media does a great disservice to the American citizenry and to the often touted “democratic government.” The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan while being interviewed on WVON chided the media for its cowardice. Here is the clip which is titled, “Minister Farrakhan Blasts Media & Reporters During Radio Interview Commercial Break.”

As mentioned during the opening plenary session of Saviours’ Day. Those who love the truth and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan must fight back their lies about him with truth. So below I have posted bullet points taken from a scholarly research article written by John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt titled, “The Israel Lobby.” The piece derives from a book of the same name that John Mearsheimer, Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago, and Stephen Walt, Professor of International Relations at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, published in late August 2007. It was a New York Times Best Seller.

Nearly everything the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has said about the Israeli lobbies’ influence over the American government is borne witness to by these two scholars. I would HIGHLY encourage those who read this article to read the full report. I will post the link to the report as well as other resources that we can use in our defense of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam below.

  • AIPAC listed as one of the MOST powerful lobbies by members of US Congress

Jewish Americans have set up an impressive array of organisations to influence American foreign policy, of which AIPAC is the most powerful and best known. In 1997, Fortune magazine asked members of Congress and their staffs to list the most powerful lobbies in Washington. AIPAC was ranked second behind the American Association of Retired People, but ahead of the AFL-CIO and the National Rifle Association. A National Journal study in March 2005 reached a similar conclusion, placing AIPAC in second place (tied with AARP) in the Washington ‘muscle rankings’.

  • Israeli Lobby’s Strategy

The Lobby pursues two broad strategies. First, it wields its significant influence in Washington, pressuring both Congress and the executive branch. Whatever an individual lawmaker or policymaker’s own views may be, the Lobby tries to make supporting Israel the ‘smart’ choice. Second, it strives to ensure that public discourse portrays Israel in a positive light, by repeating myths about its founding and by promoting its point of view in policy debates. The goal is to prevent critical comments from getting a fair hearing in the political arena. Controlling the debate is essential to guaranteeing US support, because a candid discussion of US-Israeli relations might lead Americans to favour a different policy.

  • Members of Congress are AFRAID to be critical of unjust Israeli policies and practices.

A key pillar of the Lobby’s effectiveness is its influence in Congress, where Israel is virtually immune from criticism. This in itself is remarkable, because Congress rarely shies away from contentious issues. Where Israel is concerned, however, potential critics fall silent. One reason is that some key members are Christian Zionists like Dick Armey, who said in September 2002: ‘My No. 1 priority in foreign policy is to protect Israel.’ One might think that the No. 1 priority for any congressman would be to protect America. There are also Jewish senators and congressmen who work to ensure that US foreign policy supports Israel’s interests.

  • AIPAC used MONEY to reward those friendly to Israel and punish those who are not

AIPAC itself, however, forms the core of the Lobby’s influence in Congress. Its success is due to its ability to reward legislators and congressional candidates who support its agenda, and to punish those who challenge it. Money is critical to US elections (as the scandal over the lobbyist Jack Abramoff’s shady dealings reminds us), and AIPAC makes sure that its friends get strong financial support from the many pro-Israel political action committees. Anyone who is seen as hostile to Israel can be sure that AIPAC will direct campaign contributions to his or her political opponents. AIPAC also organises letter-writing campaigns and encourages newspaper editors to endorse pro-Israel candidates.

There is no doubt about the efficacy of these tactics. Here is one example: in the 1984 elections, AIPAC helped defeat Senator Charles Percy from Illinois, who, according to a prominent Lobby figure, had ‘displayed insensitivity and even hostility to our concerns’. Thomas Dine, the head of AIPAC at the time, explained what happened: ‘All the Jews in America, from coast to coast, gathered to oust Percy. And the American politicians – those who hold public positions now, and those who aspire – got the message.’

  • AIPAC is an unofficial arm of the Israeli government

The bottom line is that AIPAC, a de facto agent for a foreign government, has a stranglehold on Congress, with the result that US policy towards Israel is not debated there, even though that policy has important consequences for the entire world. In other words, one of the three main branches of the government is firmly committed to supporting Israel. As one former Democratic senator, Ernest Hollings, noted on leaving office, ‘you can’t have an Israeli policy other than what AIPAC gives you around here.’ Or as Ariel Sharon once told an American audience, ‘when people ask me how they can help Israel, I tell them: “Help AIPAC.”’

  • Israeli Lobby discourages public debate about its influence over the American government

The Lobby doesn’t want an open debate, of course, because that might lead Americans to question the level of support they provide. Accordingly, pro-Israel organisations work hard to influence the institutions that do most to shape popular opinion.

  • Israel Lobby Controls US Media

The Lobby’s perspective prevails in the mainstream media: the debate among Middle East pundits, the journalist Eric Alterman writes, is ‘dominated by people who cannot imagine criticising Israel’. He lists 61 ‘columnists and commentators who can be counted on to support Israel reflexively and without qualification’. Conversely, he found just five pundits who consistently criticise Israeli actions or endorse Arab positions. Newspapers occasionally publish guest op-eds challenging Israeli policy, but the balance of opinion clearly favours the other side. It is hard to imagine any mainstream media outlet in the United States publishing a piece like this one.

Shamir, Sharon, Bibi – whatever those guys want is pretty much fine by me,’ Robert Bartley once remarked. Not surprisingly, his newspaper, the Wall Street Journal, along with other prominent papers like the Chicago Sun-Times and the Washington Times, regularly runs editorials that strongly support Israel. Magazines like Commentary, the New Republic and the Weekly Standard defend Israel at every turn.

Editorial bias is also found in papers like the New York Times, which occasionally criticises Israeli policies and sometimes concedes that the Palestinians have legitimate grievances, but is not even-handed. In his memoirs the paper’s former executive editor Max Frankel acknowledges the impact his own attitude had on his editorial decisions: ‘I was much more deeply devoted to Israel than I dared to assert … Fortified by my knowledge of Israel and my friendships there, I myself wrote most of our Middle East commentaries. As more Arab than Jewish readers recognised, I wrote them from a pro-Israel perspective.’

  • Israel Lobby Stifles Critical Thinking on College & University Campuses

Where the Lobby has had the most difficulty is in stifling debate on university campuses. In the 1990s, when the Oslo peace process was underway, there was only mild criticism of Israel, but it grew stronger with Oslo’s collapse and Sharon’s access to power, becoming quite vociferous when the IDF reoccupied the West Bank in spring 2002 and employed massive force to subdue the second intifada.

The Lobby moved immediately to ‘take back the campuses’. New groups sprang up, like the Caravan for Democracy, which brought Israeli speakers to US colleges. Established groups like the Jewish Council for Public Affairs and Hillel joined in, and a new group, the Israel on Campus Coalition, was formed to co-ordinate the many bodies that now sought to put Israel’s case. Finally, AIPAC more than tripled its spending on programmes to monitor university activities and to train young advocates, in order to ‘vastly expand the number of students involved on campus … in the national pro-Israel effort’.

The Lobby also monitors what professors write and teach. In September 2002, Martin Kramer and Daniel Pipes, two passionately pro-Israel neo-conservatives, established a website (Campus Watch) that posted dossiers on suspect academics and encouraged students to report remarks or behaviour that might be considered hostile to Israel. This transparent attempt to blacklist and intimidate scholars provoked a harsh reaction and Pipes and Kramer later removed the dossiers, but the website still invites students to report ‘anti-Israel’ activity.

  • Israel Lobbies uses Anti-Semitism to silence critique

No discussion of the Lobby would be complete without an examination of one of its most powerful weapons: the charge of anti-semitism. Anyone who criticises Israel’s actions or argues that pro-Israel groups have significant influence over US Middle Eastern policy – an influence AIPAC celebrates – stands a good chance of being labelled an anti-semite. Indeed, anyone who merely claims that there is an Israel Lobby runs the risk of being charged with anti-semitism, even though the Israeli media refer to America’s ‘Jewish Lobby’. In other words, the Lobby first boasts of its influence and then attacks anyone who calls attention to it. It’s a very effective tactic: anti-semitism is something no one wants to be accused of.

I’d like to close with recapping one of the above bullet points that reveals why members of Synagogue of Satan hate the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and seek to silence him. The report states…

“The Lobby doesn’t want an open debate, of course, because that might lead Americans to question the level of support they provide. Accordingly, pro-Israel organisations work hard to influence the institutions that do most to shape popular opinion.”

The words of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan sheds light on the FEAR of the Synagogue of Satan in part 25 of the Time and What Must Be Done.

“How does a Lie and a Liar become exposed? The answer is: By one who knows The Truth, and has the courage to tell The Truth, and a willingness to face the opposition coming from The Liar whose fear is “being exposed.”

The showdown is inevitable because one of the purposes for the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s birth into this world is tied to this fight. He is the Archangel Michael that is born to stand for God and make war with the beast. The controversy that we read about in the pages of the New Testament that involves Jesus and the Jewish leadership of that time. Did not take place thousands of years ago like we have been taught, it is happening right now in front of our eyes!

Dear readers please take some time to read this report and watch this YouTube documentary about the Israeli Lobby.

Pt.25: The Lie and The Liar Must Be Exposed (1) Min. Louis Farrakhan: The Time & What Must Be Done

Farrakhan speaks a hard truth to our enemies like Jesus did to his

By Student Minister Willie Muhammad

“You got a hell of a nerve! If, if my rhetoric is too strident? Who better to correct me than my brothers and my sisters? If I need to be brought in line or refined? Who better to do it than the members of my own family? We don’t get into your family business. You stay out of ours!”

The above words are from some words shared by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan at the NACCP Unity Summit in 1997! The full excerpt can be viewed on YouTube. These words by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s are powerful and prophetically fulfilling! I think many of you clearly understand what I mean when I say powerful, however, some or many of you who read this may not grasp what I mean when I say his words are prophetically fulfilling. In my effort to keep this article short I would just briefly explain it this way, his words fulfill what the New Testament scriptures say about the impact of the words spoken by Jesus.

In the above quote I would like us to pay close attention to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s use of two words. The first is rhetoric and the second is strident.

Webster dictionary defines each words as follows:

rhetoric ~ (1) the art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially the use of figures of speech and other compositional techniques. (2) language designed to have a persuasive or impressive effect on its audience, but often regarded as lacking in sincerity or meaningful content.

strident ~ (1) loud and harsh (2) presenting a point of view, especially a controversial one, in an excessively and unpleasantly forceful way.

Let’s look at the word rhetoric. Nearly every article written by those who desire to paint the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as anti-Semitic, misogynistic and any of the other dozen of false labels, use the word rhetoric to describe the truth he speaks. Before the examples I feel it’s important to make mention that the only ones who see the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s “rhetoric” as “lacking in sincerity or meaningful content” are those who are the targets of truth he speaks.  Here are some examples of what our enemies and modern Scribes write.

“After his diagnosis, Farrakhan toned down on the racial rhetoric…”

“Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam, has long expressed anti-Semitic and anti-white rhetoric…”

“Farrakhan is known for his fiery speeches, which often include talking points on self- improvement for black people, along with anti-Semitic rhetoric…”

As I reflected on their use of this word (rhetoric) to describe the words the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan speaks that frees the minds of those victimized by white supremacy, I realized how the enemies slander of the Minister even bears witness to his Biblical identity. One of the reoccurring themes in the definition of rhetoric is persuasiveness. The enemies of Jesus were always afraid of how Jesus’s words would persuade the people who were being oppressed by the Roman government and mislead by the religious class of that time.

“When the leading priests and teachers of religious law heard what Jesus had done, they began planning how to kill him. But they were afraid of him because the people were so amazed at his teaching.” ~ Mark 11:18

“…The large crowd listened to him with great delight.” ~ Mark 12:37

“From then on he taught each day in the Temple. The high priests, religion scholars, and the leaders of the people were trying their best to find a way to get rid of him. But with the people hanging on every word he spoke, they couldn’t come up with anything.” Luke 19:47-48 Message Translation

These verses show the impact of Jesus’s words on people, which struck fear in them. If this struck fear in them, I wonder how afraid they were when they saw that the forces of nature also submitted to what he SPOKE?

23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” 26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. 27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!” ~ Matthew 8

A basic study about Jesus and his issue with leadership will reveal his words (rhetoric) sparked controversy.  As mentioned the same is true for the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, but we should not fret because it shows the Minister is right and exact. Listen to what this scholar writes about the rhetoric of Jesus.

“When Jesus spoke to the religiously proud, it seems he held nothing back with regards to rhetoric. His rhetoric was extreme, even insulting. Note above the quote from Matthew 23:33

“You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?” And likewise with secular authorities, At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, “Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.”  He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’” Luke 13:31-32” Source: http://www.bcbsr.com/topics/fj10.html

Sounds like the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan to me! Another glaring similarity exists in the area in how the enemies of Jesus and Minister Farrakhan responded to the rhetoric. Listen to what this write stated about their response.

“In reaction to criticism, the proud may not have much to say about the actual content of the criticism, if it be true. And so to deflect the issue they may often allude to the tone of the critical rhetoric being used.” Source: http://www.bcbsr.com/topics/fj10.html

So those cut by the symbolic double edge sword of truth that comes out of mouth the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan they use deflection instead of allowing the truth to serve as a mirror in which they can see the error of their wicked ways. Their deflections did nothing to thwart the aim of this man Jesus. He still aims the truth revealed to him at their falsehood and pride.

This writer continues by saying that when Jesus spoke he humiliated the hypocritical leadership of that time.

“How does Jesus deal with proud people? He humiliates them. This was not for their destruction, but for their benefit. As a father chastises his son for his own good, so Jesus humiliates the proud to develop in them the essential character quality of humility, without which they cannot be saved.” Source: http://www.bcbsr.com/topics/fj10.html

Sounds like Jesus used strident language when dealing with the hypocritical leadership of his time! If you were living during what is said to be the time of Jesus would you be amongst the crowd that would be calling for the denunciation of Jesus because he called these hypocritical leaders vipers, devils, whitewashed sepulchers and more! Chances are you wouldn’t because you would know that his description of them was right and exact! You would know his battle with this hypocritical leadership was not out of a spirit of hatred nor racism but was a matter of principle and in line for why he was born!

If you would not denounce Jesus, how in the hell could you even entertain the thought of denouncing a man that is doing the EXACT same thing Jesus is said to have done in his time?

I know the answer to that. Maybe next time we will write something explaining why.

Farrakhan speaks a hard truth to our enemies like Jesus did to his2019-02-03T02:22:10+00:00

You cannot make real leaders denounce the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan!

By Student Minister Willie Muhammad

The New Testament is one of the fantastic series of religious scriptures that are great to read if we desire to understand the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the controversy that surrounds him because he has the courage to unapologetically challenge the ruling forces of America and dismantle the ideology that is the fabric of this country. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, like Jesus has had his words purposely misconstrued. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s enemies, like the enemies of Jesus, were members of the powerful ruling class, such as religious leaders, political leaders and news agencies of his time. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, like Jesus also was falsely labeled with titles that were diametrically opposed to who he is and what he represents. The recent failed efforts to get one of the prominent organizers of the Women’s March to denounce the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has made me reflect on another similarity between the opposition faced by Jesus and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.

While Jesus traveled to and from giving life to the dead, helping to heal the sick, and exposing the hypocritical leadership, there were secret meetings being held by those who hated Jesus for the sole purposes of discrediting him, destroying his mission and planning his death.

“Then the leading priests and the older Jewish leaders had a meeting at the palace where the high priest lived. The high priest’s name was Caiaphas. 4 In the meeting they tried to find a way to arrest and kill Jesus without anyone knowing what they were doing. They planned to arrest Jesus and kill him. 5 They said, “We cannot arrest Jesus during Passover. We don’t want the people to become angry and cause a riot.” Matthew 26:3-5

The SAME is unquestionably true when it comes to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as well. The orchestra of news articles and television coverage aimed at painting the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as a homophobic, an Anti-Semite and many of the other false charges are not by accident. Here four years ago with virtually NO mainstream media coverage, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan was able to draw one million people again (most of them millennials) to the Nation’s capital twenty years after the historic Million Man March. The media said nothing before nor afterwards. Yet, he declares that he is anti-termite and nearly every media outlet joined the effort to repeat the lie saying that he called Jews termites! When he actually said the following…

“When they talk about Farrakhan, call me a hater, call me an anti-Semite; stop it I’m anti-termite. I don’t know anything about hating anyone because of their religious preference. But just like they called our ancestors in the 1930s “voodoo people,” they figure “anti-Semite” would be a good thing to put on us. Farrakhan hates Jews. Stop it. You cannot find one Jew that one who follows me has plucked one hair from his head. You haven’t found us defiling a synagogue. Our Qur’an teaches us if we see something like that stop it. They call me anti-Semitic. No, you are anti-Black. Now I’m talking to the anti-Black White folk.” Source: Oct. 14, 2018 to mark the 23rd anniversary of the Million Man March and Holy Day of Atonement in Detroit at the newly-named Aretha Franklin Amphitheater.

The enemies of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam and Black people –ADL & the SPLC – seized this moment to execute their planned expressed in its Civil Rights Division Policy Background Report ~ Mainstreaming Anti-Semitism: The Legitimation of Louis Farrakhan. In this memo the ADL acknowledges that any attempt to make the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan bow is an exercise in futility, “ADL is not going to make Farrakhan go away.” However, they mention several times that they will instead put pressure on other Black leaders and organizations. “What we can and should do is impose an obligation on those who deal with him, or, as in the case of universities, give him a platform. In each case, the burden should be on those who give Farrakhan some measure of credibility to insist that he act responsibly, and put a lid on his bigotry and anti-Semitism.”

This is what we are seeing when demands are placed on people like Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, Tamika Mallory, Congressional Black Caucus, Hip-Hop artists, pastors and others to denounce the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan as an Anti-Semitic. It’s all part of a strategic plan! Make no mistake about it. The journalists recycle the same lies in all of their stories! Farrakhan Praises Hitler as a Great Man! Farrakhan Calls Judaism a Gutter Religion! LIE, LIE and more LIES! Whenever a public figure speaks favorably about the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan WITHOUT fail they usher out some Negro politician or whomever needs their money to come out and describe the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in some unfavorable terms. The most recent example, yet again is the Congressmen from Texas, Al Green! It’s no coincidence that as social media has been set ablaze with the POWERFUL example of Tamika Malory standing her ground on MAJOR media outlets about her respect and admiration for the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s track record within the Black community, we hear of a statement by the Congressmen saying the Minister is a bigot. This is all a part of the strategy to counter the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan! What we are witnessing is the execution of those secret meetings about the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, like those that were written and held about Jesus!

“ADL’s National Executive Committee will be discussing the legitimation of Farrakhan at the upcoming meeting in Palm Beach. Regional boards and national committees are therefore invited to share their thinking on the subject of this backgrounder in advance of the Palm Beach meeting.”

“Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin. “What are we accomplishing?” they asked.” ~ John 11:47

The beauty of all of this is that they are failing in their attempt to get Black people to separate from a man that has impacted their lives or the lives of family members directly or indirectly! The enemies of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and Black people were upset when the Minister set on the stage during Aretha Franklin’s funeral. We are witnessing a breaking of their power over the minds of our people ESPECIALLY the new Black millennial leaders! The new leaders do not seek the stamp of approval of those who have no track record remotely close to that of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan! The new crop of leadership sees this effort as the height of hypocrisy and yet another form of the slave master trying to dictate to Black people who we should love and see as our leaders! Check out the words of Bishop Talbert Swan…

“For far too long, white folks have tried to convince us who are the respectable and responsible Blacks that we should embrace and the disreputable and irresponsible ones we should reject. These decisions are always based on what’s in the interests of their agendas and not of the Black community. In essence, Black people are fed up with white folks dictating who our leaders should be and who we are allowed to respect or support. Thus, Black people often rally to protect people who they may not necessarily agree with or even like, but because they have been attacked by a historical enemy that has never acted in the interests of our people. The arrogance of white folks to determine who we must reject will always be met with cynicism and rejected by the masses of Black people. For sure, those in fear of losing status, opportunities or livelihood will buckle under the pressure of losing something. However, those with nothing to lose will always reject the demands of their perceived oppressors.”

There are masses of Black people who do not care to be your slaves anymore! They do not care to have nearness to you nor the trinkets that you offer them and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is a MAJOR role for them feelings this way! Any Black person who would denounce a man that has placed his life on the line to fight to free us from the grips and harmful impact of white supremacy should be excommunicated from the Black community! Could you imagine contemporary leaders during time of Moses and Aaron, when the Hebrew people were witnessing Pharaoh’s oppression in the form of social engineering to kill their male and exploit their female children and creating economic policies based upon race, hold press conferences, release statements condemning Moses and Aaron as bigots, racist or Anti-Pharaohites, because they BOLDLY challenged the evil of Pharaoh? Imagine Mary and Martha in the New Testament being asked to condemn Jesus as a hater of the Jewish people, by those religious leaders who did NOTHING to bring their brother Lazarus back from death? When Jesus was the one who traveled from a far distance to free Lazarus from the condition that the enemies of Jesus put him in! This is EXACTLY what is being planned by those who are enemies of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and Black people! But Allah is the Best of Planners!

Allah says in the Quran how Satan plans, but also how He plans. The plans of Allah always supersede and defeats the plans of the enemies of Allah’s servants! If we study the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan we will see how he maneuvers around their evil plans to keep Black people and other ethnicities deaf, dumb and blind.

In the memo put out by the ADL they mention how they have worked to pressure and scare university presidents from inviting the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan to their campuses. “…the League has also urged university officials to distance themselves from him, to deny him formal university sponsorship…” The Minister decided to cover for his own travel expenses and doesn’t accept honorariums and ended up speaking in numerous colleges all over the country over the last few years.

In the memo the ADL speaks about preventing the development of relationships between the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and Black leaders. While the ADL worked hard to be the gatekeeper with the old leadership the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, with the use of social media and a cadre of young leadership in the Nation of Islam, forged relationships with Black Lives Matter activists and many more, young men and women who do not care to follow the path of Civil Rights leaders of the past!

Now, on a daily basis hundreds of thousands of youth are viewing clips of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on Twitter, on Instagram on YouTube, Facebook etc. This is the real reason behind the effort to have him removed from social media! They seek to prevent people from having a direct connection to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s words! Those of us who love the Minister can immediately post and share the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s actual words and not the trash that is written in these newspapers and shown on these media outlets so-called news!

Anyone that asks us to denounce the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan should go to hell! The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is our champion and super hero against white supremacy! We are not seeking the white stamp of approval for our true Black leaders!

I personally would not be pleased with knowing that many in and outside of the Nation have read this article. What would please me is YOU being moved to action based upon what YOU read. Here are some simple courses of action you can take.
